Wanda Skramko Taylor, 95, of Rome passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, NY Wanda was born in Herkimer on July 16, 1921 a daughter of Alex and Anna (Meslenek) Skramko. In Sececa Falls, NY on July 6, 1941 Wanda was united in marriage to Edwin H. Taylor, Sr. a blassed union of 32 years until his death on October 26, 1973. Wanda is survived by her children, Mary Ann Brewster and husband, Warren of Middleburg, NY, Edwin H. Taylor, Jr., of Rome, Fannie Margaret Richardson of Ilion, Harry Chester Taylor and wife, Caroline of Cassville, Stephen James Taylor of NY Mills, Nancy Lorraine Finch and husband, Kenneth of Johnson City, NY. Wanda is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Wanda was predeceased by her daughter, Beverly Frances Jackson, a son-in-law, Harold Richardson and 9 brothers and sisters. A memorial funeral service for Mrs. Taylor will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 10:00 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica. Burial will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park. There are no calling hours.
