Angeline C. Martin, 91, of the Masonic Care Community passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017. Angie was born in Utica on February 9, 1926, a daughter of the late Anthony and Michelene (Colonzo) Paladino. She was educated in local schools. On May 16, 1953 Angie was joined in marriage to Lawrence (Larry) Martin. Their 38 years was blessed with much compatibility and great devotion for each other. Larry passed away on November 25, 1991. Angie worked for the original Frank J. Baker & Sons, Univac and retired from Utica National Insurance. Angie with her husband, Larry, owned and operated the Highland Florist for 32 years. Angie is predeceased by her beloved daughter Carol. She is survived by her adopted daughter, Cheryl Kramer, FL, sister, Ann Carpenter, Utica, sister-in-law, Irene Schreppel, New Hartford, and many nieces and nephews, especially acknowledging two special nephews, Gary Fava and James and Debra Martin and a special niece, Christine Mead. Angie was predeceased by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Louise Arrigo and Mary and Frank Scatigna, four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Luigi Paladino, John and Mary Paladino, Sgt. Ralph Paladino, who died in the Battle of the Bulge, and Anthony and Stella Paladino, and a brother-in-law, Don Schreppel. Mrs. Martin's funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 1:00 from St. Anthony and St. Agnes Church, Utica. Entombment will be in the Calvary Mausoleum at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Those so wishing may make donations to the Abraham House in Angeline's memory.
