Mrs. Judith Bartron, 71, a resident of Valley Health Services in Herkimer, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the nursing home. Judith was born July 16, 1945 in Herkimer the daughter of Lyle and Addie (Bowman) Brower and received her education in Herkimer Schools. On June 5, 1977 Judith marred Dale F. Bartron, a devoted union of 37 years until Dale's death in 2014. For many years, she was employed as a home health aide in Herkimer. Judith was an outdoors enthusiast and enjoyed fishing. Mrs. Bartron is survived by two daughters, Wendy Sue Aney of Bridgewater and Melissa Ann Vandilinder of Herkimer; two sons, Lyle Dennis of Herkimer and Adam Bartron of Utica; two sisters, Marsha Hailston of SC and Wendy Piotroski of Ilion; two brothers, Arthur Brower of Mohawk and Keith Brower of Ilion as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces and nephews. Services under the direction of Heintz Funeral Service, Inc., Utica will be held at the convenience of the family.
