Sandra S. Peppenelli, 79, of the St. Luke's Home passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the home. Sandra was born in Utica on November 14, 1936, a daughter of the late Stuart and Isla (Schaefer) Neuman. Sandra was united in marriage to Anthony Peppenelli, a blessed union until his death on July 15, 2006. For many years she was employed with the Marine Midland Bank in Utica. Sandra was of the Catholic faith. Sandra is survived by nieces and nephews, Daniel and Wilma Bogan, Joseph and Sandra Bogan, Darlene and Neil Peaterson, Dorothy Peppenelli and Donna Peppenelli, great nieces and nephews, Deana and Ben Cobb, Chad and Karen Bogan, Robin and Andrew Astour, Ed and Sue Engesser and Richard Palazzoli, cousins, Norma Alger and Eloise Boyle, a special friend, Joseph Aiello and many great great nieces and nephews. Sandra was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Agnes and Joseph Bogan. Mrs. Peppenelli's funeral will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 11:00 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica. Burial will be in the West Schuyler Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
