Christine M. Scholefield , 56, of Utica passed away at Faxton- St. Luke's Healthcare Center, on September 12, 2016 with her loving family at her side. She was born the daughter of Gene and Dorothy (Molencupp) Furmanski. She attended Utica Schools and the Utica School of Comm.. Christine was married to Jeffrey Scholefield in 2016. Christine was the family care giver to her husband, her children, her grandchildren and brothers and sisters. She will be greatly missed by all. Christine is survived by , her husband Jeffrey of Utica; daughters, Cheryl DiMare ( Salvatore Teresi, Jr.) of Buffalo, Samantha Scholefield (Daniel Saponaro) Utica, and Serena Scholefield of Utica; sons, Michael DiMare Jr. (Brooke) of Waterville, Keith DiMare (Christina Sardina) of Sauquoit; nine grandchildren; her sisters, Mavis Leszczynski of Rome, and Melissa Jones of Westmoreland; her brothers, Gene Furmanski, Ilion, James Furmanski , Marcy, and Eric Gerling, Yorkville. Services will be held Friday, September 16, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica, NY, with the Rev. Ann Wicks officiating. Christine's burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours at the Funeral Home will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Thursday evening.
