Patricia Falk Rightmier, 75, of New Hartford passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Sitrin Health Care Center. Patricia was born in Utica on July 27, 1941, a daughter of the late Francis and Anne (Scheiderich) Falk. For many years she was employed with New York Telephone Co., then later at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home and until her retirement at Bank of America. Patricia attended St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish where she enjoyed singing in the church choir. She was a volunteer at the ARC of Oneida-Lewis County. In her spare time she enjoyed cake decorating, knitting and crocheting. Patricia is survived by her son, Patrick Rightmier and wife, Amy, of Floyd, two beloved grandchildren, Sean and Riley Rightmier, of Floyd, sisters and brothers, Sister Judith Falk, O.S.F., of Syracuse, James Falk and wife, Antoinette, of Utica, Francis Falk, of Poland, Suzanne Florenz, of Hubbardsville, Rosemary Fernon, of Cicero, and Robert Falk, of Poland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rightmier’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 9:15 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica and at 10:00 from St. Mary of Mt. Carmel / Blessed Sacrament Parish, Utica. Burial will take place in the Olden Barneveld Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday from 4-7. Those so wishing may make donations to the American Cancer Society in Patricia’s memory. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of the Mulberry House of the Sitrin Health Care Center for all the loving care given to Patricia.
