Mrs. Frances Charlebois, 85, of Deerfield, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare in New Hartford. Frances was born in Utica on August 6, 1930, the daughter of Edgar and Anna (Badour) Foley. She was raised and educated in Utica and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy. On September 18, 1948, Frances married Remi Charlebois Sr., at St. Francis de Sales Church in Utica, a loving and devoted union of 68 years, until Remi's recent passing on June 27th. Frances enjoyed crafts and her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Charlebois is survived by his her sons, Remi Charlebois, Jr., and wife Donna, of Deerfield and David Charlebois, of Schuyler; four grandchildren, Tim Charlebois and wife Michele, Chris Charlebois and wife Heather, Remi Charlebois, III and wife Joanna and Amanda Charlebois; seven great grandchildren, Anthony, Lexi, Lissy, Remi IV, Ryan, Mikayla, and Mason; one brother, Paul Foley; one sister-in-law, Jan Charlebois as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, John Foley and Lester Foley. Private funeral services entrusted to Heintz Funeral Service Inc. will be held at the convenience of the family.
