Charles J. Caryl, 71, of North Utica passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. Charles was born in Utica on March 22, 1945 a son of Edwin and Lucille Caryl. He was a graduate of Utica Free Academy. For over 30 years he was employed with the Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co. In his younger years Charles was a drummer with several local bands. Charles is survived by his daughter, Terri Barriger of Oneida and three grandchildren, Ashley, Caitlin and Michael. Memorial calling hours for Mr. Caryl will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016 from 4-6 at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., North Utica.
