Dear George, Grace,Jim, Mike, Judy & Families, even though Im not able to be there for you at this time of sorrow, I want you to know how honored I was to have had Dear Norma in my life, though its only been about 20 years, those years have been filled with great conversations at countless dinners that started when I went to a St. Josephs Church sauerbraen dinner when Vic was still alive and after Vic passed - Norma, George and I, along with some of you always managed to go to so many great dinners; at the little church in Westmorland (okay, I never liked the chicken and biscuits one), those wonderful sauerbraten dinners at that church in Rome, the monthly dinners at the American Legion in New Hartford, the great fish frys at the Deerfield Firehall, the annual ham dinner at the Maynard Firehall ,the annual Boy Scout Lasagna dinner at the Maennerchor, Charlies Pizza and all our birthday dinners at Kirbys! Though our health problems and lifestyle changes have not allowed us to enjoy our "dinners" over the last year or so, how fortunate we were to have enjoyed so many! Now Dear Lady you can rest in peace and enjoy all your dinners for eternity with Vic! Though no one really knows the ache you have in your hearts, may it ease the pain knowing that Norma is in a better place and that others care, you have my deepest sympathy - I care, Don.
