Charles E. Danyew, 65, of Clark Mills, NY passed away on February 10,2016, at the Siegenthaler Center, New Hartford, after a brief illness with his loving family at his side. Charlie was born in Elmira, NY on February 2, 1951, the son of Willard G. and Dolores (Meisinger) Danyew. He was raised and educated in the Clinton School System. On November 2,1974 at Historic St. John's Church, Utica, Charlie was married to Rosemary Bednarczuk. He was employed for several years with Yellow Page Advertising as a sales representative. His early career began at Wicks and Greenman's Men's Store and then later, with Herb Philipson's Army and Navy Store in New Hartford. Charlie's highlight in his career was his job with New Hartford School district driving bus with his kids. Charlie was a member of the Skenandoa Club of Clinton, a former member of the Hidden Valley golf league. Charlie was a great man of many talents. He was a loving husband, father, and papa. He was a selfless friend to all and the salt of the earth. Charlie made everyone feel special and would fill the room with laughter and Love. Survivers include Charlie's wife, Rosemary; his children, Meghan and her husband, Sam Catterson of Clinton, and Ryan and Jesi Danyew of Louisville, CO.; his five cherished grandchildren, Addison, Tera, Tavia , Quinn, and Ryder. He also leaves, four sisters, Barb (Alan) Dowsland, Yvonne (Clint) Miller, Suzanne (Arthur) Klein, and Mary (Joe) Nolan; two brothers, Donald and Michael Danyew; two brothers in law, Fred Bednarczuk and Jim (Rhoda) Bednar; and many nieces and nephews. Charlie was predeceased by his parents Willard and Dolores, his in laws, Peter and Estelle Bednarczuk, a sister in law Natalie Danyew and a brother in law, Richard Bednarczuk. The family, would like to offer heart felt gratitude to Dr. John Fudyma and his entire staff at Erie County Medical Center , Buffalo, NY for all their care and compassion. Charlie's Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Church, Clinton. His burial will be at the Kirkland Cemetery in the Spring. There are no calling hours. The family will greet guests at the conclusion of mass.
