Diane M. Quiles, 50, of Utica, passed away on December 13, 2015 at her home. Diane was born in New Hartford on April 3, 1965 the daughter of Vernon S. and Marjorie (White) Miner. She was raised in Utica and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy. At one time, Diane was employed with Mele Manufacturing Company, more recently with Heritage Healthcare Center and she was of the Catholic faith. Diane's grandchildren were the light of her life. Ms. Quiles is survived by her daughter, Paige Riley of Utica; son, Aaron Riley of Lee Center; three cherished grandchildren, Savannah, Makaya and Jordan; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Karen and Richard Young of Utica and Marjorie and Jeffrey Gagnon of Utica; a niece, Beth and her husband Charles Jr., and their children, Caitlin, Miley and Charles III as well as additional nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Vernon R. Miner and niece Brianna. Ms. Quiles funeral will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica. Her burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Utica. Calling hours for family and friends are Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Stevens-Swan Humane Society or Diane's GoFundMe account.
