John "Jack" Dinneen, 74, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015 at the VA Hospital, Syracuse. Jack was born in Herkimer, NY, on April 12, 1941, the son of Patrick and Mary (Fletcher) Dinneen. He was raised and educated in Jacksonburg, NY, and graduated from Mohawk High School. Jack served his country in the US Army, 317th combat engineers unit from 1959-1963. In 1963, Jack was married to Cheryl Deshane. In 1983, he was married to Inez Ealy, who passed away in 2002. Jack was formerly employed with Hewlett Packard as a tool and dye maker, as well as numerous other machinist jobs. Jack is survived by two daughters and sons in law, Sherry and Joe Sales of Utica, Michelle and Dan Lesniak of Schuyler; two sons , Louis Dinneen of Utica, and John Dinneen, Jr. of Schuyler; two step children Nya and Pilon Ealy; many grandchildren and step grandchildren; and a brother and sister in law, Edward and Carol Dinneen of Sterling, NY. Funeral Services for Mr. Dinneen will be held Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., Utica, NY. Burial will be at West Schuyler Cemetery. Calling hours, at the funeral home, will be from 4:00 until 7:00 PM, Wednesday evening .
