CLINTON - Robert "Bob" D. Haight, 82, of Clinton, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015 with his family by his side. Bob was born October 15, 1932 in Deansboro, NY, the son of Raymond and Eva (Gurly) Haight. He was educated in Waterville and went on to serve with the US Army Air Corps. On November 15, 1952, Bob married Patricia Moore. Mrs. Haight passed away in 2011. He had been employed with GLF, which later became Agway. Bob was a member of the CJ Fulmer American Legion Post # 92, Waterville, and a former member of the Deansboro Volunteer Fire Department. He belonged to St. Mary's Church in Clinton. Bob is survived by two daughters, Mary Beth Graham, MS, Anne Marie Kapolka, Clinton; one son, David Raymond Haight, TX; seven cherished grandchildren, Zachary, Darryl, Ronnie, Bobby, Darlene, Jermaine, and Tabitha; as well as by 9 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law and her husband, Bertye and Paul Martino, Clinton; a brother-in-law and his wife, Mickey and Vicki Moore, Clinton. He is also survived by several dear cousins including, Vinnie and Carol Vangura, Doug Rockwell, Gene Camp, and Shirley Fuller. Besides his wife, Bob is predeceased by two sons, Robert, Jr., and Dennis Dale Haight. Mr. Haight's Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 9:30 am at St. Mary's Church, Clinton, where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Waterville. Relatives and friends may call at the Heintz Funeral Home, 10 East Park Row, Clinton, Wednesday evening, from 4 - 7 pm.
