Marion A. Caulkins, 93, of the Presbyterian Home passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015. Marion was born in Utica on November 7, 1921, a daughter of Clarence and Lena (Miller) Quackenbush. On April 13, 1940 at St. Francis de Sales Church, Utica, she was united in marriage to Harold J. Caulkins, a blessed union of 57 years until his death on October 19, 1997. Marion is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Janice Caulkins, of Utica and Gary and Camille Caulkins, of Utica, 5 grandchildren, Catherine Seeber and husband Randy, of Waterville, Tracey Wrobel and husband Andre, of Deerfield, Christine Dewey and husband Steve, of Palm Coast, FL, Jessica Caulkins, of North Utica and Amanda Agneta and husband Dave, of Guilderland, NY, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Marion was predeceased by a sister, Augusta Hughes and a brother, Tom Quackenbush. Mrs. Caulkins funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 10:00 from Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Utica. The family will greet visitors at the conclusion of the funeral mass. Burial will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers. Those so wishing may make donations to the Presbyterian Home in Marion's memory.
