FLORIDA / UTICA - Mary Anne Eichler, 92, of Florida, formerly of Utica, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2015 in Florida. Mary Anne was born August 28, 1922, in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Thomas and Alice (Cummings) Lynch. On November 5, 1944, Mary Anne married John (Jack) C. Eichler in Brooklyn. Mr. Eichler passed away in 2008. She is a former member of the New Hartford Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and belonged to Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Utica. Mary Anne is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Anne Van Schaick, FL, Kathleen (Kate) and John Nicoletta, New Hartford, Susan Eichler, FL; three sons and four daughters-in-law, Gregory and Christine Eichler, Utica, John (Jack) and Linda Eichler, CT, James and Nancy Eichler, Syracuse, Karen Eichler, Whitesboro; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Alice Weckerly, PA, Joan and William Dyer, Sauquoit. Also surviving are nine cherished grandchildren and two great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her husband, Mary Anne is predeceased by three sons, Robert, Thomas, and Kevin Eichler, a son-in-law, Stephen Van Schaick, and a sister, Emily Ritzel. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Utica, where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Whitestown. Arrangements are entrusted to the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica.
