Mrs. Beverly Penfield Perritano, 72, of N. Utica, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare in New Hartford with her loving family by her side. Beverly was born in Utica on May 23, 1942 the daughter of the late Frank E. and Mildred H. (Wooldridge) Penfield. She was raised in Utica and was a graduate of Proctor High School. For many years, Beverly was employed as a book keeper with several local businesses and took great pride in being a loving and dedicated home maker. She was of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Perritano is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Peter and Kathleen Perritano of Deerfield and Michael Perritano and his wife Deborah Carrier of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Warren Penfield of Santa Fe, New Mexico; one cherished granddaughter, Mandi Beauchamp; one adored great grandson, Everett; a special cousin, Janice Hurley of Utica and a sister-in-law, Linda Padula of Utica. She was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Penfield and a very special friend, Kathy Vatalaro. Mrs. Perritano's funeral will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica. Her Rite of Committal and burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Utica at the convenience of the family. Calling hours for family and friends are Thursday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Beverly's family extends a special thank you to the staff on the 3rd floor of the Pines Nursing Home, and staff at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare ICOU and CCU for the wonderful care you provided. A heartfelt thank you to Beverly's home health care provider and friend, Charlotte, for loving care and compassion you showed to Beverly. Your kindness will not be forgotten.
