Obituary of John F. Warmuth

Mr. John F. Warmuth, 70, a resident of Focus Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Utica, formerly of Cleveland Ave., Utica, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. John was born in Utica on February 21, 1947 a son of Joseph A. and Josephine (Fabrizi) Warmuth. He was raised locally and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy. At one time, John was employed with Chicago Pneumatic Tool Company and more recently with Wal-Mart in New Hartford. He was a member of St. Joseph & St. Patrick Church in Utica and generously volunteered his time with various organizations including; the American Red Cross, Adirondack Scenic Railway and Amtrak Railroad. Besides his volunteer work, John's true passion was trains. Mr. Warmuth is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mari Warmuth Lutz and her husband Michael of Pittsford, NY and Rose Anne Warmuth and her husband Joseph Duschl , IV of Lebanon, PA; one brother and sister-in-law, Paul Warmuth and his wife, Debrah of Utica; nieces and nephews, Bethany and her husband Brian, Megan, Andrew and his wife Ronnell, Mandie, Amy Beth, Valarie and Paul; two great nephews, Julian and Dean and a great niece, Amelia; A memorial mass for Mr. Warmuth will be celebrated on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at the Church of The Transfiguration, 50 W. Bloomfield Rd., Pittsford, NY 14534. His burial will be held at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours.
