Michael J. Lindsey, 43, of Utica, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the Siegenthaler Center in Kirkland. Michael was born in Utica on January 3, 1971, the son of Earl and Lenore (Mulvaney) Lindsey. He was raised and educated locally. Michael was of the Catholic faith and a member of Historic Old St. John's Church in Utica. He enjoyed riding his bike. Michael will be remembered as a kind and compassionate man who was always willing to help others. Michael is survived by 10 brothers and sisters, including 3 special sisters, Rose Lasher, Utica, Judy Narbone, Deerfield, and Donna Flynn, Ohio; and two special brothers, Jerry Lindsey, Utica, and Paul Lindsey, Lee. Arrangements, entrusted to the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica, are being held privately at the convenience of the family. The family offers their thanks and heartfelt appreciation to the nurses and staff of the HPCI Siegenthaler Center for the care and kindness shown to both Michael and his family during his stay.
