New Hartford - Karl J. Ohmann, 69, a resident of the Heritage Health Care Center, Utica, formerly of Baltimore, MD, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014 at the nursing home. Karl was born July 25, 1944 in Utica, the son of Alfred and Elizabeth (Griffith) Ohmann. He was raised and educated locally and went on to attend school to become a Fireman. Karl served his country with the US Navy as a medic from 1962 - 1966. He then became a fireman for the City of Baltimore, MD. Funeral arrangements, entrusted to the Heintz Funeral Home, 10 East Park Row, Clinton, are being held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park, Kirkland.
