Scott W. Shepardson, 30, of Schuyler, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 3, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Scott was born in New Hartford on June 4, 1983 the son of Cynthia (Usyk) Shepardson and David L. Shepardson. He received his education locally and was a 2001 graduate of Whitesboro High School. Scott was currently employed with Central New York Cardiology in Utica. Scott was a talented musician who loved to play the guitar and played with several local bands. In his spare time Scott enjoyed going to concerts and golfing and was an avid Yankees fan. Scott is survived by his mother, Cindy Shepardson and Dave of Schuyler, his father, David Shepardson, TN, his maternal grandmother, Dolores Usyk, Clinton, a brother, T.J. Shepardson and Jennifer Nellis, Marcy, a great aunt, Clarise Zygmunt, Clinton, nieces and nephew, Kyler, Kiarah and Aliyah and several aunts, uncles and cousins and many many friends. Scott's funeral will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica. Calling hours for family and friends are Saturday from 2:00-6:00 prior to the funeral service. A spring burial will take place in the West Schuyler Cemetery. Please omit flowers and consider the needs of the family.
