Obituary of Patrick J. Zenobio

Mr. Patrick (Pat) J. Zenobio, 58, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly due to a brief illness on Thursday September 5, 2013 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare in New Hartford with his loving family by his side. Patrick was born in Utica on November 25, 1954, the son of Pasquale (Patsy) and MaryLou (Gagnon) Zenobio and received his education in Utica Schools. On September 20, 1992, in Clinton, NY, Patrick married Cheryl Trueblood. At one time, Pat was employed with Friedrich Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, and more recently, assisted his brother Jimmy at Monks Pizzeria in Utica. He was a member of St. Joseph & St. Patrick Church in Utica and was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. He was also a gifted woodworker and enjoyed working on cars, especially his "prized" Chevy Chevelle. Pat treasured the Sunday family dinners he shared with his loved ones as one of the highlights of his week. Mr. Zenobio is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl; two beloved daughters, Brandi Zenobio and her boyfriend, Dave Reinhardt of Utica and Kristi Zenobio of Utica; two cherished grandchildren who were the love of his life, Alyssa and David Jr.; two sisters and one brothers-in-law Kim Zenobio and Greg Baranowski of N. Utica and Heather and Bo Korzeniowski of N. Utica; one brother, Jimmy Zenobio and his fiancé Theresa Jennings of Utica; nieces and nephews, who he loved dearly, Danielle, Alexandria, John, Jayana, Justin, Anthony Nicholas and Alison; a sister-in-law, Susan Ramie as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Pasquale and MaryLou. Mr. Zenobio's funeral will be held on Monday, September 9, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica and 10:00 at St. Joseph & St. Patrick Church where his Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Rite of Committal and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Yorkville. Calling hours for family and friends are Sunday 4:00-7:00 p.m. Mr. Zenobio's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Staff of the Dialysis Unit at Faxton Hospital and Dr. Trevisani and staff at the St. Elizabeth Wound Clinic for the compassionate care you provided to Patrick.
