Mary F. Morgan, 86, of Marcy, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013 after a brief illness. Mary was born in Utica on November 27, 1926, the daughter of Charles and Mary F. (Ryan) Morgan. She was raised and educated in Marcy, graduating from Marcy and Whitesboro schools. Mary had worked for NY Tel and later for AT&T, retiring in 1987 as chief operator. She was a member of St. Joseph & St. Patrick's Church. Mary loved to vacation in Cape Cod. She was a loving and caring person who will be dearly missed by her sister. Mary is survived by her sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Morgan, Marcy; as well as by several cousins. She is predeceased by two brothers, Charles and Kenneth Morgan. Ms. Morgan's funeral will be held on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph and St. Patrick's Church in Utica. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Utica. Arrangements are entrusted to the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica. Mary's sister Betty offers her thanks to Dr. Roger Breslow, Dr. Sikder, and Dr. Laurence for their knowledge and compassion shown to Mary while in their care. Thank you to our church friends, Phyllis and Werner Franz for their beautiful Mass cards; as well as all our friends for their prayers and concern. Thanks to our neighbors, Linda and Bob Harter, Mary and Chris Noga, and Debbie and Fred Gates for their visits and assistance. A very special thank you to Mary Breslow, who has been with us from start to finish with her loving and helpful ways. She is our angel on Earth. Also thanks to Fr. Dellos, Fr. Richard O'Neill, and Sister Catherine for their spiritual guidance. And to Tom and Theresa Dolan for your visits to Mary; you always made her laugh.
