Mary L. Cole 86, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on May 20, 2013, at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare in New Hartford. Mary was born in Utica, NY on March 26, 1927, the daughter of the late Nicholas W. and Caroline (Yager) Louis. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes School and UFA class of 1945. On September 11,1948, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Utica, Mary was united in marriage to William J. Cole. For a number of years , she was employed as a New Accounts Clerk with Oneida National Bank and Fleet Bank in New Hartford. Mary was a parishioner of St. Peter's Church, N. Utica, and belonged to the Alter Rosary Society and the Church Funeral Ministry. Mary is survived by her husband, Bill; one daughter, Deborah and her husband, Joseph Neve-Rinaldo of Russia, NY; two sons and their wives, Timothy and Theresa Cole of Geneva, NY and Daniel and Wanda Cole of Middletown, MD.; also special family members, Anne Cole Levitt and her husband Sam. She leaves her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Rebecca Cole of New Orleans, LA., Douglas and Stephanie Cole of Buffalo, NY,. and their children, Milo and Parker, Joel and Amy Lincoln, and their children, Emma, Katey, Matthew, and Donovan, Julie and Jay Didas, and their children, Jack and Jace, Jodi and Frank Gleichauf, and their children, Landon and Laila, Robyn Cole of MD., Holly and Nicholas Perez of Virginia, and their daughter Reina, Michael Perez of NYC, Ryan Perez of Whitesboro, Joseph and Jennifer Rinaldo of Rome, and their children, Dylan, Faith, and Jacob; a sister and her husband, Suzanne and Arthur Desens of New Hartford; a brother, Frederick and his wife, Jill Louis of NY.; a sister in law, Agnes Reisner of MA.; a brother-in-law and sister in law, Edward and Shirley Cole of Utica, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by in-laws, Robert Cole, John Cole and Veronica Biladeau. Mrs. Cole's funeral will be held Thursday, May 23,2013, at 9:15 AM from the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica and at 10:00 AM at St. Peter's Church, where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Her Rite of Committal and Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery . Calling hours at the funeral home are Wednesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 PM. Mary's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Faxton-St. Luke' s and especially to Dominick in CCU, for their care and kindness to Mary and the family.
