Dennis M. Costello, 66, of North Utica passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013 in Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare. Dennis was born in Utica on October 5, 1946 the son of Robert M. and Nellie E. (Collins) Costello. At St. Paul's Catholic Church on May 14, 1966 Dennis was united in marriage to Marguerite Reilly, a blessed union of 37 years until her death on March 27, 2003. Throughout his life Dennis was employed with various sheet metal contractors in Central New York, the Northeastern U.S. and Atlantic City, where he worked on many of the high profile Casinos. Dennis was recently honored with his 40 year membership from Sheet Metal Local 58. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Whitesboro. He was an avid golfer but most of all Dennis was very proud of his Irish Heritage. Dennis is survived by his three daughters, Kelly E. and Tim Burke, Pennellville, NY, Colleen Cahill and Bruce Lippert, Liverpool, NY and Erin Costello and Michael Palmieri, N. Utica, six grandchildren, Erin Margaret, Richard Reilly, Ryan Emily, Gregory Dennis, Raymond Francis, and Marguerite Reilly, a sister, Diane Poole, Stonington, ME and a brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Patricia Costello, Whitesboro. Mr. Costello's funeral will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 12:15 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica and at 1:00 from St. Paul's Catholic Church, Whitesboro.
