Mr. Donald J. Delia, 77, of Schuyler passed away on Friday April 12, 2013 at Mohawk Valley Health Care Center in Ilion, NY. Donald was born in Utica on June 12, 1935 the son of Joseph and Josephine Delia and received his education in Local Schools. He honorably served his country in the US Army. For many years, Donald was employed with Mohawk Valley Psychiatric Center. He was of the Catholic Faith. Mr. Delia is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, David Delia, Sr. of Schuyler and Mark and Jessica Delia of Winston Salem, NC; one grandson, David Delia, Jr. of Schuyler; one sister, Mary Evelyn Delia of Utica and his friend, Sandra Delia of Schuyler. He was predeceased by two sisters, Carmella Nardi and Lucy Clair and a brother, Frank Delia. In keeping with Donald's wishes, there are no calling hours and services will be held at the convenience of his family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heintz Funeral Service, Inc., Utica.
