Suzanne M. DeNeve, 75, of Utica, passed away December 18, 2012 after a long illness. Sue was born in Fulton, NY on May 9, 1937, the daughter of Leslie and Mabel (Vine) Horner. She was raised and educated in the Baldwinsville Central School System. On April 28,1955, in Baldwinsville, Sue was married to Harry T. DeNeve, a union of 57 years. For several years, she has been employed with H+R Block in the office of Day Scarafile Read Inc. Suzanne's family was the most important part of her life. She especially enjoyed riding motor cycles with her Harry and their children. Sue is survived by her husband; four sons and two daughters in law, Raymond of Chapel Hill, NC; Robert and Tammy of Lowville, NY; Timothy of Baldwinsville, NY; and Michael and Cheryl of Canastota, NY; 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, her mother in law, Evelyn Mahan at Loretto Cunningham of Syracuse ; a sister and brother in law, Virginia and Alec Seymour of Fulton, NY; a brother, Robert Horner of Rochester; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., Utica, NY. A memorial celebration of Suzanne's life for family and friends will be at 7:00 p.m. Suzanne's family wants to express heartfelt thanks to Drs. Dang, Joyce, and Love, and the staff of St. Elizabeth Medical Center for all their care and kindness to Suzanne and her family. In lieu of flowers, donation in Suzanne's memory would be appreciated to Stevens-Swan Humane Society.
