Marvin F. Olick, 58, of Ballston Spa, NY, formerly of Yorkville, passed away unexpectedly, on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Glens Falls Hospital. Marvin was born in Utica on October 9, 1954, the son of Frank and Gladys (Nassif) Olick. He was raised in Yorkville, graduating from New York Mills High School and attending Herkimer County Community College. Marvin was employed with Saratoga Preservation Society in Saratoga Springs as a Construction Management Executive. He was of the Catholic faith. Marvin is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Roxanne and John Driscoll, Middletown, NJ; a brother, Geoffrey T. Olick, Yorkville; an aunt, Rose M. Nassif, New York Mills; as well as by many cousins, aunts and uncles. Mr. Olick's funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 11:30 am at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica. Interment, in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Utica, will take place at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
