Mrs. Rosemary (Kreber) Signorelli, 85, of Utica, passed away on Sunday May 6, 2012 in the comfort of her home with her loving and devoted family by her side. Rosemary was born in Utica on October 9, 1926 the daughter of Raymond and Emma (Hetu) Kreber. She was raised in Utica, attended St. Joseph grade school and was a graduate of St. Francis de Sales High School. On April 13, 1947 Rosemary married Andrew A. Signorelli at St. Joseph's Church in Utica, a blessed union of 57 years until Andrew's death in 2004. For 17 years, she was employed as a surgical orderly with Faxton Hospital in Utica, retiring in 1987. Rosemary was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Utica. She was a gifted watercolor artist and enjoyed tending to her flower garden. Rosemary will be remembered as a caring and compassionate person, who always put the needs of others above her own. Her deep love and concern for children and animals was a true indication of who Rosemary was. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Rosemary devoted her life to the care of her family. Mrs. Signorelli is survived by her daughter, Andrea Jean Meredith of Sauquoit; two sons, Michael Schuyler of Clinton and Richard Signorelli and his partner, Lenore Gabriel, of Dolgeville, her beloved granddaughter, Michelle Schoff and husband Ray of Oswego, NY; one sister, Pauline Jones of FL; one brother, Francis Kreber of Utica; a cousin, Mary Louise Dumar of Fonda, NY; sister-in-law, Teresa Signorelli of Newton, NJ; 15 nieces and nephews as well as numerous grand nieces and nephews; dear friends, Bonnie Ciola and Sister Lois, as well as her many friends at Our Lady of Lourdes Church and her wonderful neighbors. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Sean Meredith and brother, Major Stuart L. Kreber, USAF, Retired. Mrs. Signorelli's funeral will be held on Friday May 11, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Our Lady of Lourdes Church where her Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Yorkville. In keeping with Rosemary's wishes there are no calling hours.
