Edith M. Catlin, 89, a resident of St. Luke's Home in New Hartford, formerly of Clinton and Utica, passed away Monday, April 9, 2012 at the nursing home. Edith was born February 18, 1923 in Bridgewater, NY, the daughter of Robert and Sylvia (Wardon) Inman. She married William Bagnall, who passed away in 1990. Edith married two more times; to Peter Swieder, who also passed away, and then to Robert Catlin, who passed away in 2001. Edith was of the Presbyterian faith. Edith is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Diane Bagnall, Utica; a daughter, Cheryl Rider, Minoa, and many grand and great grandchildren. Besides her husbands, she is predeceased by a son John Bagnall. Mrs. Catlin's funeral services, entrusted to the Heintz Funeral Home, 10 East Park Row, Clinton, are being held privately at the convenience of the family.
