Gram, No one will ever understand how much I'm hurting right now or how heartbroken I truly am. It killed me to watch you suffer these last 2 weeks and it especially killed me Saturday to watch you go. I know you're in a better place and that you're not suffering anymore but it hurts so bad to know that I'll never see you again nor will I ever get to joke around with you and hear that little laugh of yours. No matter how bad my day was you always had a way of making it better. I'm not sure how I'm gonna be able to make it thru the next few weeks but I'm going to stay strong cuz I know that's what you would want me to do. You have touched the lives of so many people in St. Luke's home and they are all very saddened by your departure. I'm gonna miss seeing you everyday before work and on my lunch and I'm gonna really miss looking down the hall and seeing you looking for me and waving to me. I'm gonna miss the summer cookouts and the holiday get togethers. It's only been 3 days since you passed away and I still cant seem to except it. I keep waking up everyday hoping it was all a nightmare. I know you will always be looking down on us and sending us signs letting us know that you're with us. We are all goin to miss that great sense of humor you had. You always told it like it was and that's what we loved about you. Knowing I won't see you again breaks my heart but you're in heaven reunited with your siblings and daughter and my grandparents. This isn't goodbye, it's until we meet again. I love you so much and may you R.I.P xoxoxox <3 <3
