Mr. Joseph Damiano, Jr., 68, a resident of the St. Luke's Home in New Hartford, formerly of Whitesboro passed away on Monday August 22, 2011 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare in New Hartford. Joseph was born in Utica on November 27, 1942 the son of Joseph and Antoinette (Dacunto) Damiano, Sr. For many years, Joseph attended and worked at the ARC, Oneida-Lewis chapter on Utica. He enjoyed sports, WWE Wrestling and bowling. Joseph was of the Catholic Faith. Mr. Damiano is survived by one brother and two sisters-in-law, Armando and Margo Damiano of TN and Matilda Damiano of Whitesboro and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Anthony Damiano. A private funeral and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Mr. Damiano's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff on the second floor of the St. Luke's Home for the love and friendship you shared with Joseph over the last 11 years. A special thanks to the staff of the ICU at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare for the care you provided to Joseph.
