Obituary of Paul Mulvaney
Please share a memory of Paul to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Paul Mulvaney, Jr., a resident of the York Street DDSO for many years, passed away Friday, August 12, 2011 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare Center after a brief illness. Paul was born in New York City on February 24, 1936, the son of Paul E. and Rose (DeLorenzo) Mulvaney. He was an active, loving and caring individual. His York Street home was family to him and we are extremely grateful to their staff and the DDSO offices for their care and commitment, and especially to Connie Cavo and John Drake. Paul was a member of the Marcy Day Treatment Center and we wish to thank them also for their care and commitment. Our sincere thanks to the physicians and staff of Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare Center ICU and Caregivers Association who provided Paul with the special care and dignity in his time of need. Paul will always be remembered for his love of life, his trains, donuts, and holidays with his family. Paul had a voice and was heard by those who stopped to listen. Paul is survived by his sister, Marge Carfagno, Clinton; a niece, Melinda Albertine, Clinton; two nephews, Christopher (and his wife, Katherine) Carfagno, New Hartford, Vincent Carfagno ( and his fiancee, Jen Hulsizer), Cooperstown. He is also survived by great nephews, Chris Carfagno, Jr., Frank Albertine IV and special great nephew, Matthew Albertine and special great niece, Shelby Rose Carfagno. He is predeceased by his parents, Paul and Rose Mulvaney and a brother-in-law, Vincent Carfagno. Mr. Mulvaney's funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church in Clinton where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment in Crown Hill Memorial Park will take place at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are entrusted to the Heintz Funeral Home, 10 East Park Row, Clinton.
