Obituary of Debra L. Bugbee

Mrs. Debra L. Bugbee, 52, of Utica passed away on Saturday July 30, 2011 in the comfort of her home with her loving family by her side. Debra was born in Utica on October 24, 1958 the daughter of Stanley and Mary (Kane) Citrin. She was raised and educated locally and was a graduate of Whitesboro High School. On May 19, 1982, in Deerfield, Debra married Brian P. Bugbee, Sr. Debra was employed with Dandy Doughnut Commissary in Frankfort, later with Dairy Lee Ice Cream in Utica and most recently with Tartan Textile until its closure. She was of the Catholic faith. Debbie, as she liked to be called was a unique woman who was well liked by everyone she met. Debbie loved her family and especially her children. She was supportive of her family and siblings at all times no matter what the circumstances. Debbie was a beloved wife and mother and will be sadly missed by her devoted husband Brian and cherished son and daughter Brian, Jr. and Kristin. Also surviving are two sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and Robert Robinson of NY Mills and Maryann and Craig Turner of Utica; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Michael and Donna Citrin of Whitesboro, John Citrin of Utica and Steven and Pamela Citrin of Kirkland; her father-in-law, R.R. Bugbee of Fl; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Reba and Robert Schlaepfer, John and Nicky Bugbee, Michel Phillips, Tracey Bugbee, David and Joyce Bugbee and Renee Bugbee and many nieces and nephews. Debbie was predeceased by her parents Stanley and Mary Citrin whom she loved and missed dearly and her mother-in-law, Reba Bugbee. Mrs. Bugbee's funeral will be held on Tuesday August 2, 2011 at the Heintz Funeral Home 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica at a time to appear in Monday's paper. Interment in St. Agnes Cemetery in Utica will be held at the convenience of her family. Calling hours for family and friends are Monday 4:00--7:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in Debbie's name, please consider the American Cancer Society or Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Mrs. Bugbee's husband and children extend a special thank you to the family, friends and organizations who gave so much loving care and support to Debbie, Brian and their children. We greatly appreciate it and will never forget all you did.
