Mrs. Jeanne B. (Jones) Clark, 91, a resident of the Masonic Care Community, Utica, formerly of W. Utica, Remsen and Boonville passed away Monday July 4, 2011 at the nursing home. Jeanne was born in Leonardsville, NY on January 21, 1919 the daughter of Lynn and Bessie (Brown) Baldwin. She was raised in Leonardsville, was a graduate of Leonardsville High School and Utica Business College. In 1944, Jeanne married Joseph Edgryn Jones. Mr. Jones died in 1962. In 1964 she Married Robert B. Clark. Mr. Clark died in 1986. For many years she was employed with General Electric Company until her retirement. Jeanne was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Utica and Boonville United Methodist Church in Boonville, NY. An outdoor enthusiast, Jeanne enjoyed spending time at Kayuta Lake, Oneida Lake and the beauty of the flowers and birds nature had to offer. She also enjoyed reading, crocheting and baking, especially her "famous" fudge. Mrs. Clark is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Stephen Olchek of Sandy, Utah; four grandchildren, Andrew Romanow and his wife Julia and their children, Wylie and Max, of Castle Rock, CO, Kathleen Romanow and her husband Wulii Kurnosov of Chevy Chase, MD, Scott Olchek of Sandy, Utah and Bryan Olchek of Salt Lake City, Utah; a dear friend who was like a daughter to Jeanne, Andrea Hirschey and her husband Russ of Kayuta Lake; her godson Charles Scott of Kayuta Lake; step daughter, Bonnie and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Kenneth Baldwin and Glenn Baldwin and one sister, Doris Bass. Services for Mrs. Clark will be held at the convenience of the family.
