Marian E. (Dundon) Bryant, 91, of Deerfield passed away on Wednesday April 13, 2011. Marian was born in Utica on February 20, 1920 a daughter of Harold and Margaret (Schimmel) Rice. In Utica in 1947 Marian married James A. Dundon, he passed away in 1962. In 1971 she married Robert W. Bryant, he passed away in 1989. For many years she was employed with the Horrocks-Ibbotson Co. in Utica and then later The Savings Bank of Utica. Marian was a parishioner of Historic Old St. John's Church, Utica. Marian is survived by a son, Tim Dundon, Utica, a stepson, James R. Dundon, Utica, three grandchildren, Lt. Com. James Dundon, USN, AL, Erin (Marc) Angiulli, Westmoreland and Renee Dundon, Utica, two great grandchildren, Logan and Emma Angiulli, and two cousins, Sister Rose Ellen Brennan and Lillian Brennan both of Utica. Marian was predeceased by a sister, Harriett Crouse, three brothers Howard, John and William Rice and a daughter-in-law, Suzanne (Beth) Dundon. Mrs. Bryant's funeral will be held on Monday April 18, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Historic Old St. John's Church, Utica, where her mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro. There are no calling hours. Those so wishing may make donations to Historic Old St. John's Church in Marian's memory.
