Mrs. JoAnne K. Harnish, 59, of Remsen passed away on Wednesday February 23, 2011 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare in New Hartford with her loving family by her side. JoAnne was born April 26, 1951 in Warren Ohio the daughter of John and Madelene (Henderson) Kaliscak. She was educated in Newton Falls, OH, attended Ohio State University and later earned her Paralegal Certificate from Utica College. On November 11, 1982, JoAnne married Bradley J. Harnish. JoAnne was an avid gardener and a member of the Kanata Garden Club in Poland, NY. She was a selfless animal lover who true passion were her horses. She was of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Harnish is survived by her beloved husband Bradley; Parents, John and Madelene Kaliscak of Newton Falls, OH; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Debbie and Gregory Anderson of Newton Falls, OH and Teresa Kirkland of Mantua, OH; her aunt, Anna Mae Inbody of Warren OH; three nieces, Jodi, Sara and Nicole and a nephew, Jon. Mrs. Harnish's funeral will be held on Sunday February 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica with the Most Rev. Stephen J. Enea officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
