Mary S. Kramer, 88, of New Hartford, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2010. Mary was born in Albany, New York on May 16, 1922, a daughter of Frank and Edith (Hohl) Stirling. She attended Our Lady of Lourdes Grade School and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy and later graduated from the St. Luke's School of Nursing. In New York City in 1958, Mary married Robert Kramer. Mr. Kramer passed away in 1992. For 22 years until her retirement, Mary was employed at St. Luke's Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Chadwicks and a member of the Utica College Foundation. Mary is survived by three grandchildren, Jody Grant, Robert Grant III, and Geoffrey Grant and special friends, Edward and Shirley Cole and Jim McCarthy. Mary was predeceased by her son, Robert Grant Jr. in 1995. Mrs. Kramer's funeral will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 10:00 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Chadwicks. There are no calling hours. Those so wishing may make donations to St. Joseph's Nursing Home in Mary's memory.
