Linda M. Collins, 70, of Utica passed away at home on Friday, March 17, 2017. Linda was born in Utica on October 16, 1946 a daughter of the late Albert and Bessie (Agley) Keyes. She was raised and educated in Utica and was a graduate of the Utica School of Commerce. In Utica on July 9, 1966 Linda was united in marriage to Etson J. Collins, a blessed union of 43 years until his death on February 17, 2009. For many years she was employed with ACS Education Service in Utica. Linda attended St. Paul's in Whitesboro. Linda always enjoyed spending time at her camp on Lake Ontario in Pulaski, NY. Linda is survived by her children and grandchildren, daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Peter Hughes and granddaughters, Stephanie and Nicole, son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Melody Collins and grandson, Devin and granddaughters, Teresa, McKenzie and Kendell, son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Erin Collins and grandsons, Etson, Kory and Brett, daughter and son-in-law, Traci and Keith Reynolds and grandson, Douglas Laraby, III, daughter, Brandee Collins and Shannon Cook, and grandsons, Michael Collins and Joshua Cook, and daughter and son-in-law,Kathleen and Anthony DelMonico, and granddaughter, Ashley and grandson, Anthony. Linda is also survived by two great grandchildren and a sister, Sheila Jackson. Linda was predeceased by an infant brother, Bruce Keyes. Mrs. Collin's funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 10:00 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro. Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday from 4-7.
