Mr. Henry L. Golden (Honker G), 57 of Utica passed away unexpectedly on Thursday April 8, 2010 at his home. Henry was born in Utica on December 10, 1952 the son of Henry L., Jr. and Marcelle Golden and received his education in Utica schools. He served in the US Marine Corps until his honorable discharge in 1971. Henry was a kind and generous person who touched many lives. He always showed unconditional love for his family and friends and will be remembered for his love of animals. Henry loved the Beatles "John Lennon" and enjoyed playing the guitar to entertain his family. He leaves to mourn his passing, Karen Golden; four daughters, Melissa Golden and Tom, Jennifer and Jared House, Cindy Golden (Pumpkin Pie) and Eva and David McMahon; one son, Robert Brasie and Jaimie; 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, two sisters, Rosemary Linebeck and JoAnn and Ralph Delmonico and two brothers, David Taylor and William and Bonnie Taylor; He also leaves many aunts, cousins and nieces and nephews who are saddened by the loss of "Uncle Mert". He was predeceased by his mom, Marcelle Golden and dad, Henry Golden. A memorial service to celebrate Henry's life will be held on Wednesday April 14, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the Heintz Funeral Home 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica. Interment will follow in Boonville Cemetery. Memorial calling hours are Wednesday from 11:00-1:00 prior to the service.
