John Albert Tuttle, 44, of Flanagan Rd., Marcy died peacefully in his sleep at home on Saturday, April 3, 2010. John was born in Utica on January 23, 1966 to Robert and Irma (Richard) Tuttle. He was a 1984 graduate of Whitesboro High School. In the past, John worked for contractors in the area, Florida and Nevada. He was a member of St. Peter's Church. John was extremely artistic as shown by his soap carvings and drawings. Besides his parents, John is survived by his beloved daughter Jessica Tuttle, NC; a sister Dora Tuttle, Yorkville; a sister and brother-in-law Deborah and John Constas, Yorkville; a brother and sister-in-law Scott and Michelle Tuttle, New Hartford; nephews, Joshua and Joseph Giangolini, Zachary and Christopher Constas, and Kyle Tuttle; a niece Andrea Giangolini; and a great-nephew Ryan Murray. Also surviving are several aunts and uncles including Diane Boyer and Bob Dukette, Saranac Lake; Wayne and Cyndie Richard, Remsen; Jack Richard, Florida, who was also John's godfather; Albert and Karen Richard, Marcy; Neva and Lance Boyer, Nevada; Elaine Johnson, Floyd; and Donald and Ellen Tuttle, Floyd. John also leave many cousins; his godmother Dawn Hagen and a good friend, Guy Sterling. John was predeceased by his grandparents, John and Eleanor Tuttle and Albert and Emma Richard and an uncle Jerome Johnson. A memorial service for John will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 12:00 at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica. Burial will take place in Carr Cemetery. Memorial calling hours for John will be held Saturday morning from 11-12. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Rescue Mission in John's memory.
