William (Bill) Joseph Klenotiz, age 40, of Utica and also Simpsonville, SC., passed away unexpectedly on February 8, 2010. Bill was born in Utica, NY on October 18, 1969, the son of Cheryl Mondi and Henry Klenotiz. Bill was a 1987 graduate of Whitesboro Central Schools. He was very proud to have acquired his BA from Southern Wesleyan University while working full time and attending night classes. He was a veteran of the US Navy and served in the Submarine Division during the Persian Gulf Conflict. Bill entered into marriage with Michelle Ciszek on September 26, 1995 in Las Vegas, NV. He was employed as an Operations Manager for Ryland Homes in Greenville, SC. His first priority was his family and he enjoyed family gatherings immensely. He loved fishing with his son at the family camp on the Black River and was an avid football fan (Go Bills). He was a communicant of St. Anthony's-St. Patrick's Church of Chadwicks. Bill is survived by his wife of 15 years, Michelle Klenotiz, a son William Joseph Klenotiz Jr., a daughter, Kelsey Ciszek, all of Simpsonville, SC., a loving devoted mother, Cheryl Mondi of Sauquoit, a special sister and brother-in-law, Kristen and Stacy Sheppard of Sauquoit, a brother, Robert Klenotiz of Seattle, special nieces and nephew, Makenna, Alexa, and Tristin, in-laws, Joe and Sharon Ciszek, brother-in-laws, Joey and Matt Ciszek, all of Charlotte, NC. He also leaves behind loving aunts, uncles and cousins, a special Uncle Ken Klenotiz, friends Carl Morrissey, Lance Halkovitch, Mike Sorrentino and Bill Honaker. Preceded in death by a grandmother Elvira (Vera) Mondi with whom he shared a very special bond and who's surely making him homemade ravioli's right now, also close to his heart, the memory of his Uncle Frank (Butch) Mondi and a cousin Matthew Mondi. Bill's funeral service will be on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at 5:00 pm at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St. Utica. Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday from 2 - 5 pm. Monetary donations, in lieu of flowers in his memory may be made to a trust to be established for his children's education.
