Obituary of Johnathan Michael Wurz

Please share a memory of Johnathan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Johnathan Michael Wurz, 4, beloved son of Stacy Wurz, became an angel on Saturday, February 25, 2017. He came into the world as a mother’s miracle; a dream come true. Johnathan had a gift. He had the ability to look into your eyes and make you feel pure, unconditional love. When he was just 3-months old he underwent cranial surgery and came out smiling. He sported a helmet for the first year of his life; a true warrior. He demonstrated more strength in the first year of his life than in one person’s entire lifetime. As he grew older his fondness for trains and electronics took charge. With the skilled fingers of an untrained technician he could take anything apart and put it back together on command. His heart was filled with sweetness and his mouth held a sweet tooth. He could convince his mother to let him have ice cream for dinner and pick him up on command with just one smile. He was all-boy, filled with energy and wise beyond his four years. His favorite activities included Thomas the Tank Engine, constructing masterpieces with legos, and locating every smoke alarm in a room. Johnathan was surrounded by people who loved and nurtured him even though he saw the world differently than most. He attended Pre-K at Fisher Elementary in Mohawk and he loved to go to school. Throughout his life there were so many special people who helped Johnny grow and work through his challenges. His family would like to thank all of those who helped him grow, speak, learn, and play. Along with his Mama, Johnathan’s immediate family included his Grandma who stayed home with him while mama went to work. Grandma’s patience was the perfect remedy for Johnathan’s exuberant livelihood. Pop-Pop and Johnathan shared a special bond and a secret handshake. Johnny was always excited to go out in the garage and help Pop-Pop however he could. His Uncle Mike provided an understanding and a close bond that was stronger than brotherhood. Johnathan will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone he touched. He is a ray of sunshine who came into this world and made it better. Johnathan made his Mama proud with every word, and every action, of every day. We will always love you little boy. Johnathan is survived by his mother, Stacy, his grandparents, John and Vivian Wurz, Sr., Cold Brook, his great grandparents, Theodore and Sandy Wurz, Deerfield, aunt and uncles, John and Amanda Wurz, Jr., Fl, Michael Wurz, Cold Brook, cousins, Natalie and Hayden Wurz, FL, godparents, Mary Rose and Mahlon Moon, Mary Costello who was like a grandmother to Johnathan and great aunts and uncles, Theodore Wurz, David and Wendy Wurz, Gail and Jim Holtslag, Dick Ward and Patricia Desimone.
