Donna Peckham Pearce, 54, of Barneveld, passed away Monday, October 26, 2009 at the Hospice Care Siegenthaler Center in Kirkland. Donna was born in Livermore, CA on November 24, 1954, the daughter of John and Margaret (Bensch) Peckham. She was raised and educated in Utica, graduating from Utica Free Academy. On May 28, 1994, Donna married Douglas V. Pearce at White Lead Lake in the town of Ohio. She was of the Episcopal faith. Donna had several hobbies in which she enjoyed, including aroma therapy and gardening. Donna is survived by her husband, Douglas Pearce, Barneveld; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan and Roger Bennett, OH, Penny and Ronald Norris, CA, Betsy and Ronald Cyr, South Trenton. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews, including close nephews, Matthew, Michael, and Josh, and a close niece, Jodi and her partner, Julie. She also leaves many dear friends. Besides by her parents, Donna is predeceased by a sister, Candy Peckham, and a brother, John Peckham. Funeral arrangements, entrusted to the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Road, Utica, will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Donna's family extends their thanks and heartfelt appreciation to the nurses and staff of the HPCI Seigenthaler Center for the care and compassion given to both Donna and her family during her stay.
