Mr. Eric P. Schreieck, 52 of Schuyler, NY passed away unexpectedly on Monday September 28, 2009 at his home. Eric was born in Utica on December 11, 1956 the son of Eleanora Maurer Schreieck and the late Karl J. Schreieck. He was raised locally, was a graduate of Utica Free Academy and graduated with honors from MVCC. He was employed as an Electronics Technician with Simplex Time Recorder Company, General Electric, Martin Marietta, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Carrier Corporation and currently with ConMed Corporation. Eric had a love of Astronomy, enjoyed hiking and had a dream of one day opening a toy store. He was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Schreieck is survived by his mother, Eleanora Schreieck of Utica and many relatives in Germany. Mr. Schreieck's funeral will be held on Friday October 2, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica and 11:00 at St. Joseph St. Patrick Church in Utica where his mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum in Yorkville at the convenience of the family.
