Jeanette (Janet) A. Giudilli entered into rest on January 29, 2017. Janet was born on October 2, 1921 the daughter of Peter and Mary (Barcikowski) Mroz. Educated in local schools, she graduated from Utica Free Academy in 1941 and served in the U.S. Navy from 1945-1946. On December 29, 1945 Janet was united in marriage to Chester J. Giudilli. Chester was the love of her life and a wonderful husband. Together they enjoyed nearly 51 years of marriage until his passing in 1996. Mrs. Giudilli worked at Faster Forms from 1966 until 1975 and at the State of New York from 1975 until her retirement in 1986. Janet is survived by two sons, Peter of Oswego, Paul of Perth, four daughters, Catherine Swineford of Santa Rosa, CA, Gayle Osborn of So. Glens Falls, Janice Giudilli of Green Island, and Elaine Giudilli of Whitesboro. She also leaves 2 granddaughters, 4 grandsons and 4 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces and 3 nephews. Mrs. Giudilli’s Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 11:30 am at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Whitesboro. A private burial for the family will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Whitesboro. Those wishing may donate to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 1 Marcus Blvd., Albany, NY 12205 or to the New York Mills Senior Center, 320 Main St., New York Mills, NY 13417 in Janet's memory.
