Rose B. Gladwin Southborough, MA Mrs. Rose B. Gladwin, 89 of Southborough, MA formerly of Utica, NY passed away on Wednesday February 11, 2009 in Massachusetts. Rose was born in Utica on November 9, 1919 the daughter of Anthony and Agnes (Shappes) Gudlauski and received her education in Utica schools. On June 18, 1955 Rose married Leon Gladwin at St. George's Roman Catholic Church in Utica. At one time she was employed with Divine Brothers in Utica and later was owner and operator of Better Brands Distributors (restaurant supply co.) in Utica. Rose was a parishioner of Our lady of Lourdes Church in Utica and enjoyed cooking and sewing. Mrs. Gladwin is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Eileen and Michael Andrews of Southborough, MA; her grandson, Patrick D. Andrews of Southborough; sister-in-law, Julie Gudlauski of Utica and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Donald and Wanda Gladwin and John and Dolores Zawada all of Utica. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was pre deceased by her husband Leon in 1981, her son, David Gladwin in 1977, one sister, Agnes Evans and four brothers, Anthony, Joseph, Alex and Edward Gudlauski. A memorial mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday July 15, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Utica. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Yorkville. Memorial calling hours for family and friends are Tuesday July 14, 2009 from 4:00-6:00 p.m at the Heintz Funeral Home 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica.
