Concepcion (Connie) Raymond, 73, of Westmoreland passed away Monday December 8, 2008 in Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare, New Hartford. Connie was born in Mexico, a daughter of Soledad Ramirez and the late Nemecio Ramirez. In 1957 in Mexico she married Donald J. Raymond, Sr. a blessed union of 49 years until his passing away on May 31, 2006. She was a member of the Church of the Sacred Heart and St. Mary of Czestochowa, New York Mills. Connie enjoyed listening to music but received the most enjoyment whenever she could be with her family whom she loved more than anything. Connie is survived by her beloved son; Donald J. Raymond and his special friend; Elizabeth Pierce, Westmoreland, her mother; Soledad Ramirez, El Paso, TX, two granddaughters; Danielle and Erika Raymond, and their mother; Leigh, two sisters; Astrid M. Lyons; TX, and Emma L. Escobar, AL, two brothers; Christian Lyons, TX and Joao R. Ramirez, TX, in-laws; Walter Raymond, New Hartford, and Joan Varin, Utica and many nieces and nephews whom she loved so much. Connie was predeceased by her father and a brother; Hose Andres Ramirez. Mrs. Raymond's funeral will be held on Saturday December 13, 2008 at 9:15 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica and at 10:00 from the Church Of The Sacred and St. Mary's, New York Mills. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro. Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday from 4-7.
