He was educated in the New York City school system. From 1943-1946 he proudly served as a Petty Officer in the US Navy. Larry had been employed for 40 years with Chicago Markets and Great American stores. He enjoyed tending to the needs of his patrons in his capacity as meat salesperson and seafood buyer. Up until last year, Larry was employed by Sodexo food service at SUNY IT. He enjoyed the camaraderie he had with all the students. Larry was an avid trout fisherman and loved traveling with his family. He was an exceptional cook and had a talent of languages. The past year he discovered the internet and began corresponding across the world. Larry's main concern always was for others. He always had a kind word and made everyone he met feel special.
