Naomi Saville, 92 of the Presbyterian Home for CNY and formerly of North Utica passed away Tuesday September 9, 2008 at the home. Naomi was born in Bainbridge, NY on May 15, 1916 the daughter of Merton and Mary Young. In Hollsted, PA on March 17, 1950 she married Dennis Saville a blessed union of 55 years until his passing away on May 2, 2005. For several years during World War II Naomi was employed with the Remington Rand Co. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Utica Maennerchor. Naomi cherished her grandchildren who were the light of her life and felt extremely blest to share in the joy of the birth of her great grandchildren. Naomi is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Donna and Edward Mazur, OK, her son and daughter-in-law; Vaughn and Susan Saville, Whitesboro, her eight cherished grandchildren; Michelle Feldman and husband, Eric, Amee Zbytniewski and husband; Brian, Alisha Mazur, Jason East, Heather East Traci Saville Brandon Mazur and wife; Susan and Joshua Mazur and wife; Jennifer, her five beloved great grandchildren; Brian Zbytniewski, Jr., Isabella Feldman, Abigail Zbytniewski, Emily Feldman and Kinlee Jaye East, a daughter-in-law; Karen Saville, Ok, in-laws; Ronald and Marthe Saville, Yorkville, Brian and Virginia Saville, Franklin Springs, Janet Saville, Utica, Louise Saville, Yorkville and Kaye Saville, NC, she is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Naomi was predeceased by two sons; Garry Saville in 1977 and Kendrick Oliver and many in-laws. A memorial mass for Mrs. Saville will be held on Friday, September 12, 2008 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of The Rosary Church, New Hartford. There are no calling hours. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Those so wishing may make donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in Naomi's memory. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of the Presbyterian Home for the loving care they gave to Naomi and a very special thank you to Marthe Saville who visited Naomi everyday.
