Sean P. O'Neill N. Utica Mr. Sean P. O'Neill, 24 of N. Utica and Brooklyn passed away unexpectedly on Sunday July 8, 2007 while running the 30th Utica Boiler Maker Road Race. Sean was born in Utica on January 26, 1983 the son of Kevin A. and Deborah A. (Schue) O'Neill. He was a graduate of Whitesboro High School, MVCC and earned his Bachelors Degree in Asian Studies from the University of Albany. For a number of years, Sean was employed with price Chopper and most recently as a computer technician with the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, NY. Sean enjoyed art, snowboarding, golf, fishing and above all else skateboarding. He was recently accepted to teach English in Japan as part of the JET program, an endeavor he was extremely proud of. He was a member of St. Mark's Church, N. Utica. Sean was a free spirited individual, with a huge heart who lived life to the fullest. His ability to make friends and leave people feeling good about themselves was truly unique. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Sean is survived by his loving parents, Kevin and Deborah O'Neill, N. Utica; two sisters, Peggy O'Neill, NY City and Katie O'Neill, a student at Paul Smith's College; his grandmother, Dorothy M. O'Neill, New Hartford and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many special life long friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, John M. O'Neill and Gerald and Ruth Schue. Sean's funeral will be held on Thursday July 12, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Church 440 Keyes Rd., N. Utica where his mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours for family and friends are Wednesday 5-8 at the Heintz Funeral Home 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica.
